Overview
The part of monitoring that wakes someone up, and only when it should. Alert rules are written against an SLO, with multi-window burn-rate alerts that page for fast burns and open a ticket for slow ones. Alertmanager groups, deduplicates and routes by severity and team, silences cover planned work, and a small on-call rota decides who is paged. Every alert links to a runbook. Runs locally in Docker.
