Terms of use

The short version: you buy a licence to learn from and build on our work, refunds exist when we get it wrong, and following your university's rules is your call to make.

Plain-language summary, not legal advice. Write to us if anything here is unclear before you order.

01

What you are buying

A project kit is a licensed digital work: source code, documentation, a report, a presentation and supporting material. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use, modify and extend it for your own academic and personal learning.

Kits are, by design, licensed to more than one buyer. If you need work that is unique to you, the Bespoke tier exists for exactly that and includes a similarity report.

02

What you may not do

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish a kit, in whole or in part, as your own product. You may not upload the material to a project-selling marketplace, a paid tutoring service or a file-sharing site.

Publishing your extended version in a public repository as a learning project is fine, provided you do not present the original kit itself as a work you authored from scratch.

03

Academic integrity

Academic integrity rules differ between institutions, and complying with yours is your responsibility. We supply reference implementations and learning material; how you use them within your university's rules is a decision only you can make.

We will not misrepresent authorship on your behalf, sit an assessment for you, or produce a report claiming results the code cannot reproduce.

04

Delivery and support

Ready-made kits are delivered digitally, normally within 48 hours of payment clearing. Bespoke builds follow the timeline agreed in writing before work begins.

Support windows run from the delivery date and cover setup problems, doubts about how the code works, and small adjustments. Changes that expand scope are quoted separately and never started without your approval.

05

Refunds

If a kit materially does not match its listing, or we cannot get it running on a supported configuration, you are entitled to a full refund within seven days of delivery.

Because these are digital files delivered immediately, refunds are not available for a change of mind after download, for a missed deadline caused by ordering too late, or for a grade you were not happy with.

06

Liability

We are liable, at most, for the amount you paid for the kit in question. We are not liable for academic outcomes, disciplinary decisions taken by your institution, or consequential losses.

Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Questions about these terms go to hello@collegeproject.tech. We answer them ourselves, and we would much rather clarify something before you order than argue about it afterwards.
