Overview
A stateless Node.js app behind an Application Load Balancer, running in an Auto Scaling group that grows under load and shrinks when it passes. Locust drives the traffic, CloudWatch records what happened, and the report compares target-tracking and step scaling on the same test. Free-tier-eligible instance types and a teardown script keep the experiment within student credits.
