DIDs and verifiable credentials with selective disclosure
Overview
Each user controls a decentralised identifier anchored on-chain, and issuers such as a college sign W3C-style verifiable credentials that live in the user's wallet, not on the chain. When a verifier asks for proof, the user discloses only the claims needed, such as "enrolled" without the date of birth, using salted-hash disclosure. A revocation registry lets issuers withdraw credentials. Sepolia or local Hardhat.
