Overview
Blood banks keep unit-level stock by group and component with collection and expiry dates, so near-expiry units surface first, and hospitals raise requests that move through pending, approved and issued states. When stock is short, staff search registered donors near a location, filtered by group and by whether 90 days have passed since their last donation. An academic prototype, not a certified medical system.
