Overview

Librarians catalogue titles and copies, print a barcode label for each copy, and issue or return books by scanning the label and a student ID card with a USB scanner or the laptop camera. Due dates follow per-member borrowing rules, overdue returns calculate the fine automatically, and students can search the catalogue and reserve a title that is out.
