Overview
A recovery plan tested rather than assumed. A web app runs in a primary region with its data replicated to a second one through S3 cross-region replication and DynamoDB global tables, and Route 53 health checks fail DNS over when the primary stops answering. A scripted drill breaks the primary and times how much data is lost and how long recovery takes. Sized for student credits, with a teardown script.
