Uploads transcoded to HLS with FFmpeg and played at adaptive quality
Overview
Creators upload a video in resumable chunks; a worker queue runs FFmpeg to produce an HLS ladder at several resolutions, segments and a master playlist, plus thumbnails. The player uses hls.js to switch renditions as bandwidth changes, and the backend records watch progress so viewers resume where they left off. Object storage holds the segments and a status page shows each transcoding job.
